I had to add something on my profile for verification purposes and then I never heard back from them. You CANNOT delete your account online yourself btw. You have to email them to do so which I find really strange.. They could just ignore your request entirely and keep all your information for data harvesting purposes. Not safe. I requested for them to delete my account but I'm not confident I'll hear back for that since they ignored all my responses/requests.
