## They do not even want to hear about…

They do not even want to hear about what new businesses have to ask. I have a promising business and was told about the sales team, that they only work with established supply chains and did not give me any chance to leave my information or get a quote.

## Company fell off a cliff

I have been using Flexport since 2022 and they started falling off a cliff since 2025. They are using unreliable shipping companies, their rates have gone up by a lot, they have charged us incorrectly for storage since last year (we just figured it out by ourselves) and their customer support is negligent. very shady business practices. Don't bother with them, find a one warehouse 3pl instead.

## Serious SLA breaches, unresolved inventory loss, and lost returns/orders

Our experience with Flexport has been extremely disappointing and operationally damaging.

For months, we have experienced repeated and serious SLA breaches across receiving, inventory management, and returns processing. Standard inbound receiving has taken 3–4 weeks in many cases, and in some situations even longer, creating major disruption to our ability to fulfill customer orders and manage inventory accurately.

More concerning, inventory has gone missing during the receiving process from shipments and packing lists that were delivered in full, and these discrepancies have remained unresolved despite repeated follow-ups. We have also experienced numerous lost returns and lost orders, with cases remaining open or unaddressed for extended periods without clear accountability, resolution, or operational transparency.

These issues have directly impacted our business operations, inventory accuracy, fulfillment timelines, customer experience, and internal workload. For a growing ecommerce brand, reliable receiving, accurate inventory, and timely returns processing are basic requirements from a fulfillment partner.

We are posting this review to publicly request urgent senior-level escalation from Flexport leadership. We need clear accountability, a concrete resolution timeline, and immediate corrective action on the ongoing SLA breaches, missing inventory from receiving, lost returns, and lost orders.

At this point, the lack of resolution and ownership has become unacceptable.

## Shady company

I cancelled my account with them 3 years ago. They found some inventory they lost 3 years after my cancellation and decided to start billing me again and adding penalties and send it to collections.

You decide if you want to deal with a company that does not honor their own agreement, and will do everything they can for a money grab.

## WARNING: Flexport Lost Tens of Thousands in Inventory, Lowballed the Reimbursement, and Now Operates in Bad Faith

We experienced critical discrepancies where massive quantities of our stock completely vanished from Flexport's warehouse. Initially, their support team had the audacity to dismiss these massive losses as standard warehouse "shrinkage" and refused to conduct a full cycle count. We had to do their job for them, spending hours manually reconciling their own inbound receiving logs against their outbound fulfillment data to prove the stock was undeniably missing.

The Lowball Offer and Admission of Guilt

Confronted with undeniable mathematical proof from their own system records, Flexport finally conducted an internal review and admitted liability. However, the $12,174 reimbursement they offered was strictly based on their own heavily discounted calculation—limited to the lesser of the commercial invoice value or just 40% of the retail value. The true value of the goods they lost—or potentially had stolen from their own facilities—was far higher than what they offered. Wanting to simply resolve the nightmare, we accepted their calculation and provided the requested bank wire details.

Bait-and-Switch Tactics

After stringing us along for weeks with promises that the wire transfer was just awaiting final approval, they completely reversed course. They suddenly claimed their Finance unit had denied the direct wire request. Despite having already analyzed the system records and providing written confirmation of the settlement, they kicked the case over to an internal "Risk and Loss Prevention" team for a completely new, indefinite investigation.

The Verdict

Flexport's system logs unequivocally prove they received our inventory but never shipped it out. They admitted fault, lowballed our compensation based on predatory terms, and now hide behind internal red tape to avoid paying even that fraction of what they owe. This company acts in bad faith and refuses to take financial responsibility for their operational failures. Avoid them at all costs.

## Flexport has been the worst thing that…

Nearly put my business out of operation — unauthorized charges, lost inventory, extreme delays, no phone support

Flexport has been the worst thing that ever happened to our business.

After I closed my account and had no active inventory/work, Flexport still charged me $5,000 USD. Before that, I was hit with two separate $500 charges, and their team reimbursed me and promised it would never happen again — and then it happened again, worse. They told me I had to wait 3 days to hear back while my account was negative and I was paying fees. This almost put me out of business.

Operationally, it was just as bad:

“Simple” deliveries took 12 days, then 20 days — customers were furious and it damaged our reputation.

No real phone support. Getting help was slow and painful.

Rude, unhelpful responses instead of accountability.

They lost ~30 units of my supplements and initially refused to pay for them.

A removal order was handled incorrectly, and it left me without product for months.

I was forced to transfer all inventory out of their warehouses because it was unsustainable.

Extremely high shipping rates, and they don’t allow you to simply pick up your inventory (you’re stuck in their process).

Between lost inventory, delays, forced transfers, fees, and operational damage, Flexport cost my business around $9,000 USD — not counting the customer trust we had to rebuild.

If you’re a growing brand that needs reliable fulfillment and clear support, do yourself a favor and choose literally anyone else.

## Awesome freight and fulfillment partner

We've been working with Flexport for several years now and have had a wonderful experience. We started off using their freight service to move shipments from overseas, and then began using their ecommerce fulfillment network as well. We are now able to move our products all the way from our manufacturer's doorstep to our customer's front door with one seamless experience - it's awesome. Their nationwide warehouse network keeps shipping times to customers very short and rates affordable. Would definitely recommend!

## Flexport's new 5k mth charge to ruin businesses

Flexport just started a new 5k monthly charge to business that use their 3PL. Hysterical when I got in touch with them after having a heart attack seeing the 5k invoice this month they said "We gave you plenty of notice through our website banner and a Help Guide Article". I have ZERO emails or any kind of acknowledgment that this was ok with me. In fact just another bait and switch company that is hurting the little man. I am literally going to do everything in my power even switch bank accounts to make sure this company doesn't get another dime for this behavior.

## They are not professionals

Flexport Freight llc , Mc 1321545
I would not recommend this company to any company owner. First, 1- They don't have phone numbers associated with accounting or problem resolution; everything is done via email, and sometimes they don't even respond or offer solutions. 2- They have GPS problems, which means you end up waiting for hours at locations, and they don't want to pay you for the detention time. 3- They block your account even if you send them photographic evidence; they don't trust the company owners, and since they sold the platform to DAT, they want to remove you from the type of loads you've been carrying since Convoy was still using the application. 4- They have poor customer service and tend not to provide explanations that solve your problem. I had a dispute with them, showing them evidence, photos, etc., but they only said they apologized to the company but that those are the rules. So, if you have a problem with the application, they don't help you; they just remove you and prevent you from getting more loads with them. I regret that Convoy sold them the platform because they don't recognize the effort of any truck driver.

## Best Shipping Partner We've Worked With

We've been working with Flexport for about a year now and they have been the best shipping partner we've ever worked with.

They have competitive rates, the shipment timelines are transparent and always meet our schedule, and the transparency and predictability have been a nice stabilizer in our supply chain relative to previous partners.

The team has also been excellent. Each shipment has multiple people from Flexport working on it and they are highly responsive, proactive (ex: they have proactively caught a few mistakes on our end before they become problems), and they're fast and easy to communicate with.

Their platform keeps everything centralized and transparent so we can easily see our shipment status and timelines, and the quote process is simple and includes all fees so there are no surprises or charges after the fact.

They've been one of our easiest vendors to work with and service quality has been excellent.

## I worked at Flexport through Integrity…

I worked at Flexport through Integrity Staffing Agency. Unfortunately, my experience at both companies was negative. I felt I was treated unfairly because I am Muslim. I was often given fewer working hours than others, and this seemed to happen when I requested short breaks (about 10 minutes) for prayer. As Muslims pray five times a day, sometimes one or two of those times fall during work hours.

## Excellent technology, better people

We've had a relationship with Flexport for over 18 months. We started with LCL shipments and have gradually transitioned over most of our FCL shipments to Flexport as well. The portal is an amazing tool; any relevant information is readily available. If we have situations requiring human intervention, our Flexport team is always readily available. Transitioning our business to Flexport was one of the best decisions our company has made, they are a very trusted partner.

## I am locked out of my account and they still charge me every week

I am locked out of my account and I cant log in. I have reached out to Help desk multiple times. Their reply was that IT is dealing with this problem and then stopped replying. I have now tried to reach out for 4-5 months and no reply, but they keep charging my credit card weekly and holding my inventory. Their customer service is completely non-existent. I recommend everyone to STAY AWAY doing any business with them!!!!

## Everything started off good my first…

Everything started off good my first couple months with flex board but then when I sent my second inventory, it all started going downhill. I told him to store my inventory across the country, but they went and put it in California, which is one the furthest from all my customers, but also the most expensive to ship out of they based it on a question that I asked them once on a call. I never once confirmed with them that I wanted it in one location in California in fact the question about putting it in one location I asked them was to be in in Dallas California so each shipment per unit for me was costing me anywhere from $25-$30 for just one product. You could imagine how much that was eating into my margins when addressed and talk to them they took no responsibility no solutions to help. They said this is what we have to do. We can’t ship it back to our other facilities either have to deal with it and pay really expensive shipping rates or pull the units which will cost you around $6000. Don’t even get me started on how many shipments got lost not refunded for late shipments overall just a horrible experience. I really recommend you do not go with this company and really do your research to find someone else

## Please avoid their fulfillment service at all cost

I didn't think the amount of mess-ups they made would be possible, but see for yourself:

We had our first container inbounded with them, against stock that was 90% pre-sold already, so we needed to move fast:
\- inbounding took 13 days instead of their promised SLA of 3 days
\- Once the container was inbounded, it took another 17 days to send all orders out, instead of their promised same day SLA
\- 16% of orders had some sort of fulfillment mistake (missing products, wrong products etc)

I wish these numbers were made up, but unfortunately they are completely accurate. On top of that, their support and account management was horrible as well.

Please don't use them for fulfillment. Do yourself a favor and stay away from them.

## New Global Customs Brokerage Partnership

Note: I have written less than 5 reviews in my life, and none of those were positive.

We recently moved our global customs brokerage operations to Flexport, and the impact has been both immediate and meaningful. Their onboarding process was exceptionally robust, clear timelines, structured documentation requirements, and a proactive approach that ensured our teams were aligned from the start. What stood out most was the improvement in our communication chain. Flexport provides consistent, timely updates and a direct line to knowledgeable specialists, eliminating the gaps and delays we had grown accustomed to with previous providers.

Flexport’s global footprint has also proven to be a major advantage. Their understanding of regional compliance nuances and cross-border requirements has strengthened our ability to manage shipments across multiple markets with confidence and efficiency.

Their trade advisory team has been instrumental in helping us navigate complex post entry corrections.

Their duty drawback recovery and optimization has resulted in a 10x increase in our drawback claims. Flexport identified opportunities we had not previously captured, and their process and support has made recovery more predictable and efficient.

Flexport have quickly become a trusted partner in our global trade operations, and we’re confident in their ability to support our continued growth.
