Everyone has one or two essential streaming services in their life that they just can't cancel, come rain or come shine. For some people, it's Spotify — but I can go without all that AI generated music. For me, the services I can't give up are Disney Plus (I'm officially on the 9-1-1 train, and I can't get off now) and Crunchyroll.

Wondering what to watch first? Sports anime is my favorite genre, and I recommend Haikyuu!! to pretty much everybody I meet. It's about a Japanese high school volleyball team, but it's so much more than that — it features high-stakes action, intense character drama and truly amazing animation.
