These days, everyone is an amateur digital photographer. But a smartphone can only hold so many brunch snapshots and looping GIF videos, which is why Amazon has new Prime Photos features in the US.

Prime users can now invite up to five people to [join their Family Vault](https://www.amazon.com/photos/home "(Opens in a new tab)"). Share unlimited photo storage—plus 5GB for videos and other files—with grandma, grandpa, Uncle Barry, and the Smiths next door. Vault members can manually add content on the Web or via the Prime Photos app, or set their account to automatically upload images and clips.

Then, after your brother and sister-in-law dump 50 pictures of the kids' zoo day, and your parents add another 80 snaps from their autumn weekend away, smart search technology makes it easy to find a specific photo. Simply search for "giraffe" or "sunset," and relevant content will appear.

Also browse images of individual members in the "People" view, or search and filter by location and date.

"Prime members … often struggle to collect and organize photos across multiple device and accounts into a single, shareable archive," David Nenke, director of Prime Photos, said in a statement. "We launched the Family Vault to make it easy for family members to safely store and share all their favorite moments."

Customers can also [order](http://r.zdbb.net/u/1ppw "(Opens in a new tab)") photos books, cards, and prints directly on the Web via their Prime Photos account.

The e-commerce giant, meanwhile, recently rolled out two new Prime benefits: unlimited access to short-form digital audio service [Audible Channels](https://www.pcmag.com/news/amazon-adds-a-new-prime-benefit-audible-channels), and [endless reading](https://www.pcmag.com/news/amazon-bulks-up-prime-with-unlimited-reading) from a "rotating selection of books, magazine, comics, and more."
