## Should Yoga Blocks be Soft or Hard?

Firmer foam blocks are better than soft ones for quick-paced yoga. Blocks that are softer might feel good, making them ideal for a healing flow or more of a restorative practice but in a Vinyssa Flow, you need a block that will support you in weight-bearing poses so that there is no added pressure on joints.
