After reading that syncing with Calibre Web is possible I had to buy it, which I did. Now I'm successfully syncing some books over the air with the lovely Clara HD. Then I got confused. Everytime it went back to reading a book, I was back at the start of a chapter. I'm using epubs and then I somewhere read that I should convert them to kepubs. I then activated the /usr/bin/kepubify bin for Calibre web. But that did not change a thing. When going into editing Metadata I cannot convert from epub to kepub. Do I have to reimport all my files? What am I looking at here? There are two ways to to kepubs with calibre. Either the extended driver and USB transfer or a plug in to make them. But I find the kepub format annoying. Deleting the ebook on the device and re-syncing solved it. Perhaps you should re-setup the whole synchronization, now that you have kepubify installed. The deleting is also weird. When I delete it from the Kobo then it will never get synced again. Calibre web is configured to only sync one shelve to the reader. When I delete it from my Kobo and do a sync, it will then get deleted from the shell instead... Just un-archive it (checkbox) and put it again in the kobo-sync-shelf, if necessary. I reset my kobo to factory and configured sync from scratch. Now everything seems to go smooth.
