Named The Confession Killer, the Netflix series proved a success upon its initial release, securing a rare 100% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes, reports [the Mirror](https://www.mirror.co.uk/tv/tv-news/best-ever-true-crime-doc-37206825).

Viewers flocked to the review section to express their views on the mini-series, with numerous people commending its thoroughness and declaring it a "must watch".

"Superb, my mind was blown as the story unfolded," one viewer wrote, while another concurred: "This is amazing. One of the best, if not the best, true crime doc series of late."

"Very well described in terms of details and information. Very little bias," another praised, while a fourth person said: "Henry Lee Lucas is a tragic story where everyone involved was surprised in the end. It's heartbreaking. You must watch it."
