Connections by easyJet lets you book connections to give you more choice to travel further afield. Whether you want to travel across Europe, or to far away destinations, you’ll be able to do so with easyJet or one of our carefully selected partners. These include numerous global airlines and Deutsche Bahn rail, helping you to create self-connected journeys to the destinations of your choice.

If you’re travelling with hold luggage, you’ll need to collect your bags as normal after your first flight and then check them in again for any connecting flights. Bags won’t automatically be checked through to your final destination as you have created your unique journey yourself.

Your self-connected journeys give you the option to choose how to travel in a way that best suits you, with options from:

- easyJet to easyJet flights
- easyJet to partner airline flights
- easyJet to Duetsche Bahn railway services

Our connection times are designed to ensure that you will always have plenty of time to collect your luggage ready for your next flight or train – whether that be on an easyJet connecting flight or with one of our partners.

Your peace of mind is important to us, which is why we offer self-transfer protection to all our customers. For a small fee, self-transfer protection guards you against rebooking costs in case of delays or cancellation which cause you to miss your connection. It includes great benefits such as: 24/7 Customer Service, a new flight free of charge in case of disruption to your connection, overnight accommodation costs covered if needed and more. We recommend that all customers add this to their booking.

In the unlikely event that you should encounter any disruption causing you to miss your connection, our service provider, Dohop, will be ready to help you with a dedicated, multilingual team available via phone, email, and chat.

### [Landing and connecting](#)

**Berlin**

At Berlin, proceed to baggage reclaim to collect your bags as normal.

To connect to another flight, you can drop your bags at the easyJet Plus desk; you will just need to show your Dohop confirmation email.

To connect to a Deutsche Bahn train, just follow the signs to the train station.

**All other destinations**

When you land at your connecting airport, proceed to the baggage reclaim to collect your bags as normal from the carousel. Then proceed to the desk in reclaim where their friendly team will take your bags and help you connect to your next flight.

At Milan Malpensa, please note that if you are transferring onto a US, Turkey or Israel-bound flight, you will also need to go to the check-in of the airline flying you to that destination (e.g. Norwegian) for additional security verification.

Once you've dropped your bags or if you have no bags, you can then proceed directly through security.

### [Minimum connection time (MCT) and transfers](#)

For flights, Connections by easyJet is subject to a ‘Minimum Connection Time’ which can vary between 1 hour 30 minutes and 2 hours 30 minutes. This will give you plenty of time to transfer between flights and/or terminals.

For trains, Connections by easyJet is subject to a Minimum Connection Time of 1 hour 30 minutes for Schengen area flights and 2 hours for non-Schengen flights, which should give you enough time to transfer from plane to train or vice versa.

Should your first flight or train be late in arriving and cause your transfer time to fall below this limit please contact Dohop via email or via telephone (as per below) - they will do their best to re-accommodate you. Please see T&Cs for details.
