Matzlawi - Construction Development and Renovation - is the pioneer of urban renewal in Israel. For 50 years, it has been initiating, building, and making a mark of reliability, quality, and service in Israel's construction and real estate industry. Matzlawi has successfully undertaken comprehensive Pinui Binui projects, from the initiation phase, coordinating with the apartment owners, performing evacuation, demolition, and construction of the project to its delivery to the customer. Since the announcement of the Israeli government's renewal policy at the beginning of the century, Matzlawi has initiated and promoted thousands of housing units at various stages of initiation, planning, and construction, such as "Ono Prime", "Green Ono" and "HaRimon" in Kiryat Ono, and the company's flagship project - the "Ayalon Quarter" on Yoseftal Street in Bat Yam.

**Compassion, Empathy, and Respect**

Matzlawi – Construction Development and Renovation is a family-owned and operated company. Its business vision combines a social mission and an urban vision of improving the quality of living and the urban environment in Israel. The company has been founded by Sami Matzlawi, whose family was evacuated from a house in an area of one dunam to a small and crowded apartment shortly after the establishment of the state of Israel. His childhood experience shaped him and instilled in him the sense of justice that is associated with real estate. Later, Sami, with his wife Clara, founded a real estate company that initiates and builds based on human and social values – that strives to innovate to bring about change, to do justice, to create value for people and the environment, and to fulfill the longing for a safe, protective home that enables dignity and good living.

**Urban Renewal Under One Roof**

Matzlawi, the first in urban renewal in Israel, serves as a “one-stop shop” for apartment owners, from development to the completion of construction and handing over the key to the tenants. Matzlawi’s development arm is equipped with high interpersonal skills, which are helpful in organizing apartment owners, creating partnerships, and accompanying them continuously. Matzlawi has a high contractor classification, allowing it to initiate and build its own projects. It operates a management and logistics system with advanced equipment and the best engineers, architects, and project managers in the field. Managing the construction process allows the company to reduce the duration of the projects, ensure quality, and respond quickly and effectively to project challenges.

**Transparency and Security**

Matzlawi is a public-traded company with a strong financial position, which has won investors’ trust since its listing on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange in 2007. The public nature of the stock market ensures transparency and constant control, and the financial strength of the company allows it to raise capital sources for major initiatives.

**Matzlawi’s Unique Model – A True Partnership**

As part of Matzlawi’s values philosophy, the partnership is a key component – partnership with the apartment owners who own the land as well, as a sign of respect and to fulfill their dreams of a roof over their heads and personal security. “We make homes, not just housing” is the company’s slogan, which emphasizes the company’s high motivation to understand the needs of every family and ensure that the apartment will become their forever home.

**Vision – To Expand Geographically Across All Renewal Channels and Demand Areas**

Matzlawi’s business focus in recent years has been on mega Pinui Binui projects of hundreds of landowners and the construction of entire neighborhoods. “Our motivation was to influence the urban environment and improve the lives of hundreds of families while making the most of the high construction capabilities and extensive experience we have gained in 50 years of activity,” says the company’s CEO, CPA Eran Mazor. However, in the coming years, we intend to integrate and lead as well In other areas of urban renewal – in the NOP 38/2 projects (demolition and construction) and its alternatives. “These are relatively small projects, which have the potential to influence the urban landscape rapidly, allowing us to continue to influence and reach many thousands of apartment owners,” adds Mazor.

**Ayalon Quarter – Matzlawi’s DNA**

The Ayalon Quarter in Bat Yam is one of the country’s largest Pinui Binui projects. It possesses all the elements of Matzlawi’s DNA – the ability to lead, influence, and organize about 240 apartment owners towards one goal and recruit the best partners and professionals.
