## First, verify your library cards

On the device that isn't syncing, verify all of your library cards:

1.  Tap **[Menu](https://help.libbyapp.com/en-us/6011.htm)**, then **Cards**.

2.  If needed, tap the drop-down icon to switch libraries.

3.  Tap ![Manage Cards button](https://help.libbyapp.com/en-us/resources/images/libby/iconography/now-bar-manage-button.png) or ![Exclamation mark icon](https://help.libbyapp.com/en-us/resources/images/libby/iconography/bang-icon.png) on your card.
4.  Tap **Verify Card**, then sign in with your library card again.

After verifying your cards, check if your Libby data is syncing. If it is, there's no need to continue to the next set of steps.

## If needed, reset Libby on your other devices and recover your data

### Before you begin

Choose the device with the **tags** you want to keep and sync to your other devices. **You'll lose your tags on the devices you reset, so you may want to [export your tags on those devices](https://help.libbyapp.com/en-us/6208.htm) before moving ahead.**

You'll also lose some timeline activity (though you can try [recovering your borrowing history](https://help.libbyapp.com/en-us/6281.htm) after resetting). You can [export your timeline](https://help.libbyapp.com/en-us/6207.htm) before you reset Libby, too.

### Steps to reset and recover your data

1.  On your **main** device, [create a recovery passkey](https://help.libbyapp.com/en-us/6302.htm). If one of your devices doesn't support passkeys, you'll still be able to copy your data using a setup code.
2.  Reset Libby on your **other** devices.  
    1.  Go to **[Menu](https://help.libbyapp.com/en-us/6011.htm)**, then tap **Reset Everything** (under "Your Information").
    2.  Tap **Yes, Reset Everything** to confirm.
3.  Recover your data (cards, loans, holds, and tags) on the reset devices:
    1.  On the "Welcome" screen, tap **Yes** when asked if you have a library card.
    2.  Select **Recover Your Data**.
    3.  If you were able to create a passkey, select **Recover With Passkey**. Then, follow the prompts to copy your data.
    4.  If you weren't able to create a passkey, select **Display Setup Code**. Then, enter the displayed code on your main device (which you can find under _[Menu](https://help.libbyapp.com/en-us/6011.htm) > Copy To Another Device > Enter Setup Code_).

Your loans, holds, tags, reading progress, wish list, bookmarks, notes, and highlights should now sync properly between your devices.
