CMA CGM maintains its lead in this market, with 66 LNG-powered Container Ships in its fleet, 31 of which were delivered in 2024 alone. More than half of CMA CGM’s LNG fleet consists of vessels with a TEU capacity of over 12,500, with 9 units being ULCS Megamax ships of over 18,000 TEU capacity.

Second-placed in this ranking comes MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company with 32 LNG-powered Container Ships currently in active service, having received 17 of them last year. The vast majority of MSC’s LNG fleet has a TEU capacity between 15,200 and 18,000.
