Epoche is a free, multilingual reading library of public-domain classics — philosophy, literature, history, scripture and more — with text-to-speech, side-by-side translations, and AI study tools. Read thousands of works in their original language and in translation.

Every public work can be read free in the browser, with original-language texts alongside translations, natural text-to-speech narration, and optional AI reading assistance. The collection spans philosophy, literature, history, religion, science and the arts, drawn from the public domain and openly-licensed sources.

## Free to read, with an optional paid plan

Epoche sells exactly one product: the **Epoche Pro** subscription — a recurring digital-service plan for this web application. There are no physical goods, no one-off purchases, and no in-app currency.

**Free (no charge).** The entire public library of public-domain classics is free to read for everyone, supported by ads. A free account also includes a daily AI-assistant quota and a monthly text-to-speech quota at no charge.

**Epoche Pro.** Premium AI models for the reading assistant, dictionary and translation tools; higher daily AI limits and a larger monthly text-to-speech quota; 5 GB of storage for your own imports; ad-free reading; and priority support. **US$5 per month or US$50 per year** (2 months free), billed in US dollars by Stripe with applicable tax added at checkout. Every new subscription starts with a 14-day free trial, renews automatically until cancelled, and can be cancelled at any time from your profile settings.
