**D.E.L Engineering** was founded in 1977 by four founders Gad Weinstein, Danny Halpern, Ilan Lifshin and Dan Groner .  
Four long-time colleagues who had worked together at HALVA – the biggest company for surveying and civil engineering in Israel.  
They decided to join forces and establish a new engineering firm that would combine their expertise.

They had a bold vision: to create a company that would deliver civil engineering services across Israel’s transportation, residential, and infrastructure sectors.  
They rented modest offices in the heart of Tel Aviv and Haifa to ensure accessibility to potential clients.  
Under conditions of limited space and resources, they embarked on a new path – one driven by big dreams, rigorous planning, and hard work.

By 1978, two additional senior engineers joined the firm: Eli Weiss in the Tel Aviv branch and Chaim Zach in the Haifa branch.  
Both were immediately integrated into the company’s leadership structure and played key roles in its growth and development. Shortly after their arrival, they were promoted to shareholder status.

Wherever you look across the State of Israel, the fingerprint of **D.E.L Engineering** can be found.  
The company’s contribution and impact are visible at every point on Israel’s map – from small-scale assignments to complex, multidisciplinary mega-projects: highways, railways, light rail systems, ports, industrial zones, Highway 6, Highway 431, Ayalon Road, Ben-Gurion Airport 2000, and residential developments spanning from north to south.
