On web, you can turn on **desktop notifications** to receive popup alerts in your browser whenever you get a new notification and your Mighty Network tab is not in focus. The notifications that appear will depend on your personal notification preferences in **Personal Settings > Notifications**. You may also see a prompt to enable desktop notifications when you open the chat icon in the top bar of your browser.
