## From the grounds up

Like every great idea, TrustRadius started with coffee. An amazingly thorough review of a coffee machine served as the lightbulb moment for creating our platform.

In 2012, we opened our digital doors with a goal of helping B2B technology buyers make smarter, more informed purchase decisions. Through the years, we grew into a buyer intelligence platform, and were acquired by HG Insights in 2025.

However, the acquisition isn’t changing the heart of what we stand for: Truth, transparency, and authenticity. Technology buyers continue to use our platform for trustworthy and comprehensive product research like product comparisons, transparent pricing, and authentic customer reviews.
